When you left and slammed the door shut behind you
I was trapped inside a windowless room
Closed off from everyone and everything
Feeling unworthy, unloved and alone
Searching for a glimmer of sunshine, a ray of light
A sign that there was a crack in the wall, a way out
Not realizing that I did not need you
So I stood up, opened the door, and left.
